Oh how thankful I am for the moment in which you allowed yourself to be crucified on earth, and risen three days later, to life, in honour of The Fathers will. How thankful I am that Your love for me was displayed that day, in the most beautiful of ways; though torn and tattered, though exhausted and drained- you remained, pinned to the cross so that I may know the spread of Your love for me. How humbled I am that The Son of all creation, of water, earth and sky- remained. You were, You are, and You always will be, the perfect picture of love- hung as an offering for all my darkness and shame, all my sins and sorrows and all my sickness and ignorance. Your precious sacrifice, made in mind of me- and for all Your glory, that I would fall short of. When sin placed a cage around my heart, and hope had seemed dim… You took it all, in a beautiful exchange; Your life for my imperfections. Thank You Jesus, always. I submit my life, my will and my way unto You- teach me Lord, of what it is to sacrifice my life, in order to see Your magnificent glory fall here on earth, and spread amongst the dry and thirsty land.
